An “Evening Of Hope”

Published October 7, 2008 by Patty Brisben

Over this past weekend I had the opportunity to attend the “Evening of Hope” at the beautiful Green Acres Arts Center in Indian Hill. The event, which honors cancer survivorship, directly benefitted the Wellness Community programs and the Patty Brisben Foundation was proud to be one of many local sponsors.

It was so inspirational to hear about all of the stories and great work they are doing in the community and were excited to be a part of it. We wrapped the night up with some after-dinner dancing to a special performance by Grammy award winning song artist Mary Wilson of The Supremes, and the Chicago-based Ted Wulfers band.

In addition to this sponsorship, the Patty Brisben Foundation has donated $100 for every Red’s win to the Wellness Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky over the last two years. It is a wonderful organization in our area which offers people with cancer and their loved ones, free of charge, the support and resources they need to maintain a high quality of life and to cope with this life-threatening condition.
